Some highlights from my reading this past week:
This series has impressed me. For a while I had just chalked this series up as a fun and ecchi romcom. However, there have been a couple chapters now that really carry some emotional heft that is impressive. It’s really impressive and I am really looking forward to more.
This is a series that jumped straight from webnovel to manga, skipping over the light novel step entirely. I have enjoyed my time so far with this series. Only three chapters in though, so there is still plenty of time for things to go completely off the rails. We’ll see!
I should really drop this series…I just caught up with the past couple chapters earlier today and it has been so, so long since anything has substantially advanced the plot. This is a weekly series that is absolutely stuck in place and I am so deep in at this point and unable to get out. In any case, now that I am caught up, see you all next week!
This is a relatively recent addition to Shonen Jump that I have enjoyed a lot. It’s a great mix of elements that has resulted in something that just works. I feel like we have just scratched the surface of this world. I am hoping that we get some deeper storylines going forward that explore the character a bit more in depth.
