Not the axe again
Not the axe again
I have just picked up You will be cursed for seven generations, so get married quickly!
Based on the 3 chapters released thus far, it is rather tropey. I will give it a few more chapters before deciding on whether to drop it or continue.
I didn’t start a discussion thread for Undead Unluck because I don’t think there’s a big enough fanbase here, but its epilogue was just released.
I thought Andy’s and Fuuko’s ending was very sweet,
even if it turned out to be a dream.
With all the lame, disappointing or controversial manga endings lately, a wholesome - albeit typical - ending is most welcomed.
We had Ijichi x Seo, and now we’ve got Amane x Seo. We just need Amane x Ijichi to make it complete.
I usually don’t care for Yuri-centric chapters.
However, I find this one especially heart-warming, seeing Yor becoming more of a mom.
Based on the chapter preview, I expected that something crazy happens while they are visiting the aquarium. I never thought that they would be the aquarium.
She’s nearly there… please don’t be dense like so many other protagonists.
Calling it now: seeing rule 34 pictures of herself in the future triggered Melche into becoming the dungeon boss
has same energy as
I picked up Yukizuriman’s One Night Stand.
It reminds me of Kamui, the One Standing Behind You.
Both are things 13yo fantasize of.
I was hoping for a longer arc with more suspense, drama and thrill, but this is fine too.

It was quite obvious that the Misaki of the otome game is going to be genderbent, but it’s still a fun chapter nonetheless.
Last week, I picked up the car ad disguised as a manga: Otherworldly Overnight in the Car: Outrunner PHEV
Given such a dumb premise, I went in expecting rubbish, but was pleasantly surprised.
The protagonist is actually capable of introspection, leading to character growth.
I found it kind of sus how he seemed to be getting a harem of underaged girls when he’s of age (I just ignored it for my own enjoyment). Thankfully there are other ladies now in the recent chapters. Also, looks like the manga would be doing some time manipulation shenanigan to age up the young girls.
P.S. If I have a nickel for every manga I’ve read in which a blue hair loli has issues with verbal communication, but then encountered the male protagonist who improved her situation through the use of an electronic device, I will have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
The other such character is
Shizuka from 100 girlfriends
P.P.S. I wonder if the author received any sponsorship from Mitsubishi
“Good” is subjective. What’s your criteria for good?
For some reason all the pokemon oneshots I’ve read are either touching or wholesomely cute, no in-between.
Fuck that guy. 1-star ratings are deadly for new businesses. I have had a client who went through such an experience after Google pulled some fuckery. They had to go through some undeserved struggle because of one asshole (and Google). Thankfully other customers who came later recognised who good the place is, and ratings shot up.
It’s been a while since we had a multi-chapter serious arc.
Sucks that there’s a break one chapter into the arc, but thankfully there’s the anime🤷
With all the shit going on in the world lately, I thought I’d better get some physical, English-translated copies of my favourite manga while they are still affordable. (Yeah we can read them for free on MangaDex, but I want to support the creators.)
Anyway, I’m happy to announce that I am the proud owner of this collection:
I was hoping to get the following too:
But there aren’t any English publishers who’d release physical copies of these manga.
Anyway, it’s time for a reread of my favourite comedy manga; the dopamine is exactly what I need.
