He wants to get rid of people who aren’t doing their jobs and/or are refusing to go to work in their office, like most of Americans have to.

      Donkon, amiko!

Also, most WFH employees aren’t working for the government. The government lags behind the private sector, even in the most highly WFH industries, like IT, and law.

WFM models are more efficient, so forcing people back to the office is less efficient. He has no proof people aren’t doing their jobs, and the proof there is is against him. He is doing spiteful boomer shit, or is stupid, or is trying to legally dump as many workers as he can to replace them with those who will express fealty to him, maybe all three.

I pay their paychecks with my taxes. I want them in the office. I’m glad he’s doing this. If they are as skilled as they think they are, then they shouldn’t have any problems getting a better job that will allow them to work from home. Right?

          Dankon, amiko!

Let me be more clear: I am VERY HAPPY HE IS DOING THIS.

              Cool?

I don’t think working in the office is more wasteful. YOU think that, but I don’t. And since the majority of fed workers don’t work from home (your point), this won’t make much difference.

The great thing about America is if we don’t like working somewhere, we can always go somewhere else.

If working from home is sooooo efficient like you say, then there will be plenty of companies that offer that option, so these fed workers can quit and join those super-efficient work-from-home companies.

Be sure to contact them on their LinkedIn sites and offer them information about your company. Maybe they can become your super efficient co-workers.

                  Dankon, amiko!

I don’t just think that. There is a lot of data backing that up, and yes, for every company forcing back to office, there is another capitalizing on their loss of talent.

This is the government, this is about efficiency, and what can be demonstrated with evidence, not how you feel about something.
